Y’know, I’ve never really been religious all that much despite growing up notionally catholic and going to a catholic grade/middle school. I look at religious texts like the Bible, Quran, etc as partly historic and partly fable. I believe most of the people existed; e.g. regardless of what his actual name was back then I believe the man we call Jesus Christ did exist, and was probably a really decent guy who said many of the things the Bible said he did. But son of God? No. And the miracles I attribute to just the naïveté of a primitive society with little understanding of natural phenomena. I believe the man we call Moses did exist and believed he spoke to God at the burning bush, but was probably on shrooms.

People like the OP posted, though, I can’t even hope to explain. Some of the Bible contains good rules to live by, the rest of it makes me think “who reads this shit and says ‘yeah, sounds about right?’”

I’m not gonna lie, i kinda love reading stuff like this . Its a weird look into the in ner workings of someone who is, by all measures, mentally broken and yet trying to articulate something deep from within their psyche.

Maybe god touched his genitals with his electric hands... I don’t know, I wasn’t there , who am I to say he didn’t? Regardless, something happened in this guys’ life that left him broken in some way, and it’s fascinating in a way to try and see what and why.
